Frequently asked questions
How To Burn Your Candle?
Light your candle in a well ventilated room, away from drafts or fans as this can cause, (sooting or black marks on your vessel) and rapid or uneven burning.
Burn your candle for a minimum of two hours, maxmum four hours or until the wax has pooled to the edges of your vessel. Burning for less time can cause the candle to "tunnel" which leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel sides, and can reduce the maximum burn time. Burning for longer periods (over four hours) can cause the wick to move, slant or become brittle.
Make sure you stop burning your candle when 20mm of wax is remaining at the bottom of your vessel or when in sight the wick sustainer is showing. Keep a close eye on your burning candle when the wax is low, this is to prevent the sustainer from moving which can cause damage to your furnishings or cause your vessel to explode.

How To Care For Your Wick/s?
Check to ensure your wicks are trimmed to 5mm before lighting your candle, this will ensure the burn time.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches, as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster and hotter.
Never blow out your candle, extinguish the flame by using a snuffer, lid or wick dipper. By blowing your candle out this may cause your wick/s to move or slant. if you see a flaming wick close to the vessel wall sides, extinguish the flame as above, as this may cause your vessel to crack or explode.
After every burn trim your wick once the wax has re-set.
